Hello once again to Derek, Scott and the Mighty IMC team!
And an even bigger hello to all you lucky people at the Atalanta Bootcamp!
The Toronto Bootcamp held 5 weeks ago was absolutely amazing - You'll learn so much and I strongly advise you to be sure to attend Scott's session where you will learn secrets that will explode your search engine rankings and on-line earnings.
My partner Heidi and I have joined the protégé mentoring program, and if you can do it, you won't regret it, Regardless, you will come away with a ton of practical knowledge this weekend - so go for it!
Make sure to go to Scott's session! It will be worth it!
We've been working with our tech head, upgrading our website which was built on the DotNetNuke web building system. Our first step was upgrading the system so all of our URLS are machine readable. This is necessary in applying what Scott teaches, which is devastatingly effective.
We know it is because our RSS news section is responsible for tour Alexa number. We are ranked at 316,692 on Alexa. We have done zip, nada, zilch on our site for over a year. No Blogging, no podcasting no tweaking of any kind - just a news section with lots of RSS feeds.
You can see why I would get on the phone right away and tell our tech guy - hey we need the following, get it done - and God Bless him, he is almost ready so we can begin ripping our site apart - Improve our sales copy and process for sure, add squeeze pages Etc etc etc - We are hard at work on our implementation plan as we gear up for mentoring with Team IMC.
THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES:
We began our blog 5 days ago - Our traffic doubled and we had the highest daily ranking we've ever had - 47,000!
We were at 320,000 (slight drop from switching to the machine readbale URL's - but well worth it...) when we turned on the blog and 5 days alater we are at 314,000. That's an increase of 6000 in 5 days in Alexa!!!

What an information packed day it was today. Thank you Derek, Scott and the IMC mentors for all of your time and help today. Each of the presentations and one on one time was great.

My original site was for my web page design and hosting company. But I am shifting gears into PPC advertising and true "internet marketing" as seen on my other site PPC-Affiliates.
I'll stay in touch - hopefully I can make the "successes" power point slide in Derek's presentation next time.

forgot to talk about what I do here in atlanta. I teach swing, latin and ballroom dancing here in atlanta. and what my primary goal is to encourage younger folks that swing, latin and ballroom dancing are not just something that for older folks but it's a great alternative to the bar scene. I email my students every week to let them know where we are going to go out dancing.

Hello to Derek, Scott and the entire IMC team!
My weekends are very important to me because I am so busy during the week, but when I heard that IMC was going to be in Atlanta, there was no hesitation on my part to make reservations to be there on the front row.
The Atlanta Bootcamp just ended was undoubtedly the best marketing seminar I have EVER attended! The information shared was amazing. Scott's (late night) session on blogging and podcasting opened my tired eyes and ears with the GREAT information he shared. I learned so much and can hardly wait to begin applying these strategies.
I joined the mentoring program, and am anxious to get started with that and hope to one day be one of the people portrayed on their literature as a "success story."
I would advise anyone and everyone to - TAKE ACTION and get themselves associated with the IMC Team.

Awesome job!! This past weekend absolutely changed my life. My very first "boot camp", not to mention my 32" TV. Talk about an Unforgettable Event! You are now & forever not just names or pictures on the internet: you are as real as your successful results.
Well thank you all for a very informative weekend, and a "reality-check". You are truly practicing what you preach. This event in itself was enough to inspire us to take it ALL to next level. My group and I have been encouraged to shift from drive to overdrive in every aspect of our business. Especially in the area of blogs. Not a mystery any more!!

Why is my blog disabled?
If your blog is disabled, it will be listed on your Dashboard, but you will not be able to click on it to access it. If this is the case, there will be a grace period during which you can request that it be reviewed and recovered. The disabling is a result of our automated classification system marking it as spam. Because this system is automated there will necessarily be some false positives, though we're continually working on improving our algorithms to avoid these.
